Rio de Janeiro, June 07th, 2010 - PDG Realty S.A. Empreendimentos e Participações (Bovespa: PDGR3), one of Brazil’s largest real estate developers, informs its shareholders and the market that Goldfarb and CHL have occupied prominent positions in the rankings for the regions where they operate.
Goldfarb was ranked first in the Ranking for Best Homebuilders in 2009 and second in the Ranking for Largest Real Estate Developers in 2009, in the 17th issue of Prêmio Top Imobiliário award. The award is a partnership between Estadão newspaper and Embraesp (Empresa Brasileira de Estudos de Patrimônio). In order to identify the winning companies, the Top Imobiliário award uses Embraesp’s ranking, prepared based on a survey that gathers information on all real estate undertakings, whether new or under launching process, offered to the market in the urban region of São Paulo during 2009.
CHL was once again the standout in the ADEMI-RJ (Association of Rio de Janeiro’s Real Estate Market Company Managers) Ranking during 2009, ranked first in launched units as Real Estate Developer and Homebuilder in the state, and also ranked first in sold units for the municipality of Rio de Janeiro and second for the state of Rio de Janeiro.
